I am planning to host a firewalk in San Diego this coming October 27, 2007 and then March 21, 2008. Unfortunately we are in a 2 year dought so the sites I normally use have fire bans. The ceremony is great, though it is challenging dealing with logistics in So. Cal.
Do any of you in the tribe know anybody who has put together or attended firewalks in San Diego area and can help me figure this out. I'm looking at the Mission Bay area which normally allows fires year round but in concrete fire pits on the beach. Not sure of the event permitting process or extra special logistics of working with the City to get approval.
Is there anybody else in this firewalking tribe from Southern California?
